God, the Decalogue, the Love. So can be briefly defined the retreats of the ministrants, which took place from July 15 to July 21, 2013 at “Casa Providenței” in Chisinau.
29 ministrants from all over the country, have came to discover the Saint Scripture, prerequisite to serve the Divine Liturgy, but first of all to meet God. The retreats were led by the priest Krzysztof Płonka, the pastor of the community “St Ana” fron Ungheni, together with four other clerics from the Diocese of Katowice.
The leading theme of the retreat was ”The Decalogue – Sending love to God and neighbor”. Ministrants have meditated on the commandments concerning man’s relationship with God and our relationship with neighbor, and consequently, related them to their own lives. The main goal was to answer the question: How to show the love to God, by fulfilling the conditions of the Decalogue?
The retreats are also considering communion. Thus, a lot of time was given for sports games and excursions. For this purpose, trips have been organized to the zoo of Chisinau and the Monastery Tipova. Saturday July 20, the ministrants were visited by the Bishop Anton Coșa, who spoke about his ministering and his vocation of Holy Priesthood, as a result of this extraordinary service.
The camp ended with an Agape, during which they were awarded diplomas of participation and prizes for attending different competitions.
